Select continue and note what is indicated by Verizon site. Confirm the device ID you listed matches the device ID associated with the serial number. If ID provided was for a Verizon device MultiTech will look at past file device ID. Jan 6, 2017 - I ran into the serial number problem myself. I used the SamMobile Device Info app on my Verizon Note 4 (model SM-N910V) to get the serial.

Working on recovering a Verizon Note 4 (SM-N910V). with June 2016 Firmware.
Can't get into the system and Recovery Lock is turned ON (No ADB, not sure what it does to download mode.)
Never rooted, stock firmware.
I can't use Kies/SmartSwitch because I have no idea what the serial number of the device is (Seriously, how stupid is that).
I've tried using Odin to flash stock CP, AP, CSC, and BL in varying combinations with no success. It seems to pass, but I think Recovery Lock is preventing changes from taking hold.
When it boots up, it says 'Recovery Booting' in the top left of the screen, it will vibrate a couple times, and reboot. It does this a couple times before going black. I can the QHS-USB device in Windows in this state (Processor crashed) but I can't seem to find a Qualcomm recovery image to use that method.
Occasionally - like once in every 20 boots - it will start the recoverey software update, but will totally lock up about a 1/3 of the way through.
Anyone run into this before? Anyone have a hex recovery image on a VZW Note 4? Any other suggestions?
